Who Are We?

Here at A.P.E.T.S we are a small team with big ideas.

Shelley Redding

Shelley is the founder and owner of A.P.E.T.S – Action Petz Education & Training School.

A.P.E.T.S was born out of love and enthusiasm for animal welfare and concern that the dog training industry is unregulated in the UK. This means that there is a real potential to damage our beloved dogs with poor quality and sometimes unethical training.

Shelley recognised that all too often, ‘dog trainer courses’ were either offered via internet based training or they take place in wholly unsuitable venues such as hotel conference rooms!

Shelley felt that this needed to change and this is where A.P.E.T.S differentiates, As the owner of Action Petz! indoor dog park and training venue, we are lucky enough to have access to many furry friends that are ready and willing to help us/you learn. We also have a purpose built dog training arena for the practical element of our training courses. These luxuries are pivotal to the vision of A.P.E.T.S.

A.P.E.T.S will provide unique, credible and ethical instruction to those passionate individuals that work front line with dogs.

Shelley's role within A.P.E.T.S is the business owner. She oversees the training school along with her passionate team of professionals in order that we can support our learners to truly understand the inner workings of dog’s minds. Shelly pledge’s to work in a kind and ethical way with the dog’s welfare and best interests at the core of the business.

“I look forward to meeting all learners and sharing our A.P.E.T.S philosophy which is; when it comes to dogs.....EVERY INTERACTION COUNTS!” - Shelley Redding
